Today's grub

Coffee with organic half and half and agave
left over smoothie- kale, almond breeze, banana, frozen berries
left over yogurt with frozen berries, vanilla, agave, fresh berries
2 slices of sprout bread
2 egg whites/1 whole egg

This is me. This is me. This is me and my energy!

Hello internetz! This post will just be an attempt to say who I am in words. Easier said than done! I'm a wordy kind of girl. I'm not good at editing myself- that is applicable to on paper or in real life. The goal of this blog is simple. I want to document my adventures in getting down to a healthy weight and my struggles and triumphs through out that journy.

I'm a stay at home mom and wife. My day is filled with doing things for my husband, my 4 children, and everyone else! I try to take time every day for me but some days are harder than others to do that! I love to bake, read, run, and drink coffee. Some days I do it all and some days I do none of that.

Through writing about my adventures in skinnyland I hope to take my love for food blogs, exercising, and eating and translate it into something that being a busy mom can relate too.
Let's be honest here. I've awful eating habits. I love quality and quanity! I can always eat more! I love to sweat and exercise but it's just not enough. As a mom it's my job to give my children the right tools to become successful, smart, loving, and remarkable people. I know that eating well and taking care of your body will help you to achieve all of those goals. I want my kids to not have to grow up struggling with weight issues like I did.

I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!
